Meet Morgan Austgen

I am a working mom, wife, homeowner, school PTO volunteer, and engaged community member. I have a bachelor's degree from Carroll University and a master's degree from Michigan State. I am willing to listen and learn from other residents, city officials, and local leaders to best determine what Brookfield needs to excel for decades to come.

I have lived in and around Waukesha County for most of my adult life. My husband and I moved our family to our forever home in Brookfield because we were certain this community had a strong foundation on which we could build the rest of our lives: top-tier schools, parks and playgrounds for outdoor exploration, recreational trails for exercise, a robust library and senior center providing programs for residents of all ages, and exceptional city services.

Brookfield has a strong foundation. However, complacency in its leadership will undermine the work of previous generations and lead to difficult decisions about community services. At this pivotal time, Brookfield needs elected officials willing to put in the time, research, and forethought when it comes to city policy. As someone who plans to spend the rest of her years in this city, I am committed to this task.  I want Brookfield to be a place where families live and work for generations to come.
