Fostering a Healthier Community
Building on the foundations laid down by my predecessors, I will continue the work of making Brookfield a community that emphasizes health and wellness for its residents by improving walkability, creating inter-generational gathering places, and prioritizing preservation and expansion of green space.
Fiscal Responsibility
I believe we need to be critical of how we use tax dollars, but I also believe we need to recognize when additional tax dollars are necessary to fund the services our community needs to continue to be a desirable place to live.
What is an Alderman?
The City of Brookfield is divided into 7 districts. Each district (further divided into wards) elects two alderman to represent them on the city's Common Council. The Common Council then works directly with city officials and the mayor to govern the city.
